Part One. This workshop changed me. And I’ll be forever grateful for the amazing artists and friends I met in Bend, one October day.

I fell in love with photographing new mommies this year. And then I photographed my first maternity session on film. All film. I’m not exaggerating to say I nearly died of happiness.
Not even kidding. (I ♥ you Mandi!)
Honored to have Belle Lumiere feature this session on their blog this afternoon. Love this day.

Hair & Makeup: Cassandra Rose | Film scans: Richard Photo Lab Special thanks to my Father-in-law for letting us borrow us beautiful home for this session. ♥
“Elegance is the only beauty that never fades.”
-Audrey Hepburn

This is just a portion of what I photographed on a perfectly warm summer day, full of pretty things and awesome friends. I have fallen in love with film, and even though I was pretty sure I would, this shoot solidified it for me! Much more to come, but for now, here’s a peak.
Special thanks to Connie for helping me execute this vision and for being such a good friend. And to my father in law who was kind enough to offer his backyard as our backdrop! wink wink
