Groom Style | Bare Root Flora | Featured on Magnolia Rouge

I partnered with the innovative and talented Robyn from Bare Root Flora to create this vision, and we focused our shoot on the groom alone. Robyn’s ability to design floral pieces that are wholly loved by both the bride and groom is the delicate balance that makes her a true talent. I wanted to photograph beautiful boutonniere options that not only work with a variety of color pallets, but that can also work well with other groomsmen in the wedding party. In addition, his floral accessories compliment the bride’s bouquet perfectly, bringing unity to the theme. The sole idea was to design effortless statement pieces uniting his own personal style with a specific wedding color palate & these floral pieces did just that. ♥

“Motherhood is the greatest blessing in life…

“We welcomed our first son into the world on August 20, 2015 and my life was forever changed. The past three months have been busy and sleepless. But all those 1:30 AM wake up calls have been all worth it. A person never truly understands what being a parent will be like until he or she become one. It is immensely beautiful. It is exhilarating … yet exhausting. It adds true meaning to one’s life.

“The best feeling in the world is holding your baby for the first time in the hospital, knowing that he is safe and sound in your arms. All you want for him in that moment is for his health and his happiness. That is my wish for my baby.

“I cannot wait to witness all his milestones. From the first word to the first steps, life has a greater meaning now.

“And, I have even more appreciation for photographs. The days pass so quickly with a baby and I am thankful for the documentation of these moments with photographs. These photographs will forever be a treasure.” – Laura Murray
