After a stunning wedding in Montana last fall, Greenwood Events and I spent an evening at McDonald Lake, feasting our eyes on a cotton-candy sunset that melted over a glass lake beneath the breathtaking backdrop of Glacier National Park. And we styled organic-like bridal inspirations with a beautiful, barefoot bride, who cradled a bouquet of sunset-colored flowers grown entirely by Greenwood Events. Darci & Arden Greenwood are true artists and genuine talents.

Any Bride is lucky to have them. And so was I. ♥

Easter, Eggs, & Eli

† “Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; He has risen!” †  – Luke 24: 5-6

It’s become a tradition ever since Eli’s very first Easter, for this Mommy to hide Eggs inside the Spruce trees of our field. Eli waits patiently for me to finish and then on my signal, he is allowed to run through the rows collecting all the pretty Eggs. It’s been so fun re-living almost the same day over and over again, as nothing much has changed…except his height!

We love so very much the tradition of  finding things that symbolize new life. For at Easter, we’re reminded that everything was made new. Even our story and reason to smile. Today, we’ll glorify His name in all things. He is Risen!  HALLELUJAH! †
